The shelters used to stop surface public transport lines play a key role for citizens. They make the waiting more comforting, protect from various atmospheric agents and constitute a communication tool capillary on the territory of the service information through the display of maps and digital panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The design idea was born from a double inspiration: a modern interpretation of the roofs of the '30s\/ '40s and continuity with the formal language already started with other elements of urban design for a better redevelopment of the historic center of Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The design of the new canopy consists of a central iron structure that supports two glass wings for a free cover of other supports on the ground. The central structure has an elongated rectangular plan (cm.72 x cm.184) with four columns on the corners: two for the discharge of rainwater to the ground of the entire roof and two for the passage of cables of the plants. In this central body were inserted on the side of the road front seats and a panel for the exposure of a map with the paths of the lines. On the opposite side there is a 1.20 x 1.80 metre advertising panel.
